About TESO Life
Retail chain offering the best of Asian household goods. TESO Life is your destination for skincare, cosmetics, snacks, toys, and more—all in one vibrant and fun-filled store.
TESO Life is an other place in Long Island City, New York. It is listed at 24-29 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101, which places it among the local businesses of Long Island City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 12–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach TESO Life at (347) 642-3400; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is tesolife.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 209 reviews, which is a strong result for an other place in Long Island City and suggests consistent service.
Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Teso Life in Long Island City is one of those stores that’s just fun to explore every time you go. They have a huge selection of beauty products everything from skincare and face masks to hair treatments and cosmetics you don’t usually see in regular stores. The variety is really impressive, and the layout makes it easy to browse and find new products to try. Aside from beauty items, they also carry a great mix of candies and snacks from different Asian brands. There are so many unique flavors and types you won’t find in most grocery stores from creative chips and cookies to specialty drinks and seasonal treats. It’s a great spot to grab something new or pick up a few gifts for friends who love Korean or Japanese products. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions, and the whole store is bright, clean, and well organized. Prices are reasonable for the quality and selection. Overall, Teso Life is a fun place to visit if you’re into beauty, skincare, or just like discovering new snacks you can’t find anywhere else. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

This place has almost every go-to asian item you could think of snacks, home stuff, beauty products, and more. It’s basically like a mini japanese department store, but a chinese company in charge, but they have almost everything asian. Prices are a little higher compared to Asia, but pretty expected for NYC, and it’s worth it to have everything all in one place without needing to order online. There’s also a lot of random home goods like cute mugs, chopsticks, umbrellas, slippers, and even cleaning supplies.

Everyone knows me as Panda, and I’ve been coming here for a few months now. Every time I visit, they have a great selection of snacks—affordable ones too. I enjoy coming here because it’s nice to have a market that offers Japanese snacks along with other home essentials. The staff is always friendly, and I’ll continue to visit and shop at TESO. but I have an update for you On December 3, 2025 transaction T2830045404 and time 12:13 The cashier Cher9 I purchased what’s called Kaililai Bursting Bread (mango flavor), and this is by far the worst product I’ve ever bought. Please look at the video. I’m honestly not impressed — I feel like a fool. The whole process looks like American junk food, no offense. It’s completely different from what you get in China, and I can say that from experience. I was expecting a custard-filled bread. For this reason, I'll taking away 2 stars Nota fan of process junk (We want real Chinese snacks) As you can see that the gel type fillings I do not eat February 17th, 2026 Update: I purchased the vegetarian steak two days ago but didn’t try it until last night and again this morning. A few years ago, I was really impressed by the great selection of Japanese products, especially snacks and other food items. They even had some rare regional products from Japan that were hard to find, and the store was always clean and spacious. Recently, though, I’ve noticed that many of the Japanese food products have been replaced by items made in China or produced in the U.S. under Japanese brands. Even if the packaging looks the same, the ingredients and overall quality can be quite different from the original ones made in Japan. On the other hand, the selection of Korean and Japanese cosmetics is still good, and the prices seem fair. Since the number of real Japanese products has gone down, I don’t visit as often as I used to, but I still hope to come back more often if the original selection returns.

Well stocked with products pertaining to skincare, beauty, personal care, snacks, beverages, packaged and bottled food items, collectibles, home goods, and kitchenware. I love being within walking distance from this shop now. Although it feels more cramped than the one in K-Town, space is limited so it is understandable. I think the owners and designers did their best with the layout here. Convenient place to stop by with co-workers to stretch our legs during breaks. They were mind blown such a place exists in the USA and were reminded of shops in Japan and Korea. We have made it our goal to try at least one of the variety of snacks available especially the seasonal flavored Lay’s potato chips on a bi-weekly basis. Side notes: My new favorite lip balm is the tube of Nivea Japan Peach SPF. It provides enough moisture without leaving a sticky or waxy film on my lips and does not cause them to chap either. The character bandages sadly do not last long since they are not sweat or water resistant but adorable for a quick peel and patch. The Pokémon hair rollers are perfect for curling front and side bangs while getting ready.
